You might all be aware of this site already but I used in lessons this last year and the students loved it. The section "advertising tricks" was my favorite and the students loved the commercials in the "what's in an ad?" section. The Levi's one in particular really caught their attention. Media Literacy Lesson Plan

Annick Press publishes some fun non-fiction books. They also have lesson plans that go with some of the books. One really good one is for the book "Made You Look: How Advertising Works"
