Media Literacy and Girls
I just heard of about an ad-free magazine for girls called "New Moon: The Magazine For Girls and Their Dreams". The magazine targets media stereotyping and other issues for girls. I went to the site and browsed a bit and I liked what I saw. You can download a free issue. I signed up for the free e-letter. I will think about ordering it for our library. Thanks for the tip Vaughn!
